The reviews for this restaurant are generous. We visited Mecha Una in St Rémy After knowing their restaurant in Arles. Mecha Una in St Rémy is pleasant in deco, their staff is nice too. But their food it's not too good. I took my niece for dinner, who let me know she preferred the Gyozas from Lidl to the ones from the restaurant. To be fair, she was right. The ramen was not very nice, the broth tasted like cubes beef stock. The pork was rank. We went to the restaurant as my niece loves ramens but it was a mistake. This was first and last visit. I expected the ramen to be same than in their branch in Arles. The main ingredients matched but the broth had nothing similar. I consider the broth a main item in ramens and it was a shame it was of that poor quality. Our dinner in Mecha Uma St Rémy was a very expensive dinner out considering the quality of the food. Go to Arles if you can. Their food is much...
Read moreWe were visiting St Remy and had a craving for Japanese. After doing a Google search we found this restaurant. We have traveled to Japan a few times, and the ramen, karaage, salad, takoyaki, gyoza, and curry really hit the spot! Paired with a tall glass of Kirin on a hot night, it was a perfect meal. We had a late activity the next day and decided to return for a late dinner. The staff were friendly and accommodated us even though they were very busy. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a change from the other great restaurants that St Remy has to...

The first time I went, I sat inside and a lovely waitress served us and ordered the chicken etc, and it was quick service. The same for the next time, but the gyoza was different? I sat outside the second time, and it was a bit noisy with cars going past etc. Anyway, I highly recommend Mecha-Uma in Saint Remy...
