Lovely position, and one of the waitresses was friendly and pleasant, but that was the only positives to take away.

Food was absolutely revolting and over priced for such poor quality. Burger was burnt, and chips were definitely previously cooked and refried. They didn’t even resemble fries. Everything dripped in grease. The sea bass was bland and overly greasy.

The toilet only had one working tap, which was scalding hot and burnt my child’s hands! His scream could be heard throughout the restaurant. No concern, or warning for this at all. It made it impossible to wash hands.

My child has a cow’s milk allergy. The male waiter was told this in French (and shown it written down), he understood, yet they still served dairy to him both in the main and dessert. He didn’t eat either, and we had to go elsewhere afterwards.

We visited today, on a super busy Sunday where the market and brocante were taking place. To say L’Isle Sur La Surge was packed, is an understatement!!! There was no room to walk but it was fantastic and entertaining. We made a reservation here, and despite having to wait a bit, it was all in good fun. What stood out, was a young lady, her name was Ines. She single-handedly managed the crowd and the chaos that waited to be seated. She was a true conductor of a beautiful orchestra, she answered everyone with a smile, despite being under tremendous pressure. And on top of it, all the food and drinks were delicious and made for a fantastic experience!!! I highly recommend. Just enjoy the people watching while waiting, it’ll be worth it.
