Saigon food — Restaurant in Avignon

Amazing place. We stopped by for lunch and started with spicy chicken bao. The owner was kind enough to serve the bao in half so we each can try - it tasted amazing, so flavorful and fresh. It was a good combo between the chicken sauce and the softness of the bao. I had the tofu noddle with Thai curry and my wife has the traditional beef pho and both were wonderful. We went there after seeing the good reviews and what a disappointment! The food was far less delicious than we had imagined and it looked more like a fast food restaurant to me. The bread of the Gua Bao was hard to chew and the wok and Bun Bo were mediocre. The only reason I give two stars is because the service was good. Really not a place to go if you want some traditional Vietnamese food. I certainly would not recommend...
