A rare find in a small town overloaded with tourists who succumb to accepting high prices, bad service and poor quality food. The restaurant of the Le Relais du Roy hotel is brilliant. Whilst it is still part of a restaurant chain in the area, it has maintained a respectable level of integrity and value. Most of the reviews come under the hotel listing which explains why I didn’t find it at first when looking for a decent restaurant.
At 14€ for a decent Moules Frites Marinières main, great wine (we got the Pinot Gris) and incredible service - thank you, sorry I didn’t get your names - it’s worth making your way to this place on your short stay in Mont-Saint-Michel. There are at least 3 vegetarian dishes of which one appears vegan.
Tip: take the shuttle to the Abbey at night, less crowds and a great evening lights show inside the Abbey (summer 2018).
Toilets: 10/10 super clean, warm water, hand towels, working locks and numerous.
Advice: towelettes on the plate or a lemon water bowl for customers hands after moules frites please and a vegan dessert option...

This restaurant could have been designed with us in mind - how wonderful to find somewhere that caters to all diets, and doesn't limit anyone to a single 'afterthought' option.

All my choices were delicious and the presentation was superb. I wish I’d taken photos of all and not just the dessert. The medley of flavors were perfect. The service was impeccable.
