Brasserie Glacier Le Palais — Restaurant in Béziers

Interesting place, we came for A drink and witnessed an older man aged around 70 who was just drinking a coffee getting dragged kicked and punched heavily by one of the younger staff members around 23 years old. The staff members clearly wanted this man to leave for some reason,he told them he was going to but the young man just came storming at him and my boyfriend had to jump in to stop the guy from harming this older man any further who was left helpless and injured . We don't know what the situation was beforehand but is clearly not the way to solve hospitality issues. Also note no thanks for helping to keep the situation...

Very good little pub. When you look at the outside it's not what you would call anything special. They have a patio with tables on the opposite side of the road. And the young waitress was excellent. The food was superb. Huge portions and not expensive at all. We were full for the rest of the day. We stopped for lunch. They had lots of choice and grimbegen on tap. Perfect. Would eat here again and recommend to anyone looking for a lovely little place to stop off at that's not fancy but...

Nous étions 6 personnes de passage, et cette adresse restera dans nos mémoires… pour de très mauvaises raisons.

Accueil : glacial, hautain et désagréable, aussi bien de la part du monsieur que de la dame aux cheveux noirs. Aucune considération pour le client, un mépris affiché qui interroge.

Service et repas : plats noyés dans l’huile, aucune saveur, une véritable tromperie culinaire. Résultat : une intoxication alimentaire pour plusieurs d’entre nous. Inacceptable.

Climat : lourdeur et malaise dès l’entrée, avec une impression dérangeante de discrimination (notamment à l’égard de ma tante voilée). À l’heure où l’on parle d’accueil et d’ouverture, c’est une honte.

Cadre : une ville fantôme qui n’invite déjà pas à rester… et cette brasserie n’arrange rien, bien au contraire.

En résumé : un désastre absolu, tant humain que culinaire. Une adresse à éviter si vous tenez à votre santé, à votre dignité et à votre porte-monnaie.
