In the midst of the usual tourist restaurants this place stands out as a little different. The burgers, steaks and salads were all sampled by us over several visits, both this year and the previous year. The salads are massive, the steaks tasty and well cooked and burgers hit the spot if you want to sample comfort food. We didn't sample the house speciality of mussels but they looked to be very popular with everyone and no complaints. The staff are friendly, efficient and still make time for smiles and chat even in peak season when they're run off their feet. All this fails to mention what makes the restaurant stand out from others and that is it's fantastic range of Belgium beers. There are beers on tap but also a massive choice of bottled beers of both well known and lesser known producers covering the full range. I'd thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly and funny waiter who stole the heart of our little 1yo boy within 10 seconds of entry. The mussels with chorizo where perfect, the Belgium beer completed the meal, and our son enjoyed his noodles with apple juice. The deserts where to die for, and although the Chocolat-mint icecream was no longer available, the coconut icecream with chocolate was like heaven. Thank you for that experience, you deserve a Michelin star!

Top ! On mange super bien !

Excellent Belgian (yes, Belgian!) bar-brasserie, located on the seafront.

As a beer-lover, I was surprised and delighted to find a Belgian bar within strolling distance from our campsite. Instead of the usual choice of macro-brewery eurolager and maybe 1664 and/or Leffe, I actually had a choice of nearly 140 different beers, including several with lots of hops!

Food is also good, with friendly and quick service.

We returned to the same nearby campsite (Les Sablons) another year - and were recognised and greeted warmly by the La 7éme Vague staff when we went in - our decision to return made in large part because of the existence of La 7éme Vague. And we'll...
