In the midst of the usual tourist restaurants this place stands out as a little different. The burgers, steaks and salads were all sampled by us over several visits, both this year and the previous year. The salads are massive, the steaks tasty and well cooked and burgers hit the spot if you want to sample comfort food. We didn't sample the house speciality of mussels but they looked to be very popular with everyone and no complaints.
The staff are friendly, efficient and still make time for smiles and chat even in peak season when they're run off their feet.

As a beer-lover, I was surprised and delighted to find a Belgian bar within strolling distance from our campsite. Instead of the usual choice of macro-brewery eurolager and maybe 1664 and/or Leffe, I actually had a choice of nearly 140 different beers, including several with lots of hops!
Food is also good, with friendly and quick service.
