We were in Beziers for a couple of days recently, staying in an apartment quite close to La Petite Nice. On our first morning we had coffee there and it was possibly the best we had had anywhere so on our last morning with our suitcases we returned just as they were opening. We chatted to the husband and wife and then he offered to drive us to the railway station. This was an unexpected gift and we greatly appreciated their kindness. And I have to say that we experienced friendliness from others in this town and indeed across France....

The food is delicious, very authentic Nice cuisine with a selection that changes. You can also buy spreads, jams, cookies and other fine goods to bring home.
