My partner and I were looking for a mid-afternoon light bite - if possible, a crêpe - when visiting Port-en-Bessin-Huppain and spotted La Marina. The service was prompt if not quite professional in its execution. We both ordered a crêpe au citron, which arrived fairly quickly. Our expectation of what constitutes such a crêpe was not, however, met by the dishes laid before us. Yes, there was a nicely prepared crêpe but it was topped with about four blobs of lemon curd and a single scoop of ice cream. The melange was completed by random squirts of foamed cream. There was no trace of actual lemon. It all added up to an over-rich confection and not the tangy experience we'd hoped and paid for. Read moreI highly suggest those restaraunt when visiting the area, definitely one of the best around, especially for the fair prices. The pizza was fresh and incredibly flavourful, one of the best i have had in a while, the mussels were also very fresh but were honestly nothing special, but still, they have incredible solid food. The service is very quick and are very patient, being able to speak english and help tourists. The atmosphere is amazing, right next to the dock with fishing boats frequently coming in and out. The whole atmosphere in and around the restaurant is just amazing, just adding to the experience. Overall, this is a very good restaurant that should definitely be visited on your journey...

They made us pay 6€ which I think is expensive for two...
