A Charming Slice of Normandy
La Normande is a delightful little spot that effortlessly blends rustic charm with understated elegance. From the moment you walk in, there’s a sense of ease — the kind of place where you can settle in and let the evening unfold at its own pace.
Sarah’s service is attentive without being overbearing, and Romain’s cooking is quietly confident, letting fresh, seasonal ingredients speak for themselves. The weekly Market Menu is a particular highlight, offering generous portions and well-balanced flavours that feel both comforting and refined. Whether it’s a beautifully cooked fillet of cod, a hearty Normandy-style burger, or a delicate apple crumble, each dish is served with care and a touch of flair.
The atmosphere is relaxed — perfect for a leisurely dinner after exploring the town’s rich history. It’s easy to see why La Normande enjoys such glowing reviews from locals and visitors alike.

P.S.
The red flags should have gone way up when it was the only place in town that was open and it was...

SO UPSET and here's the kicker - after waiting that long time, the host comes to me asking if I want a drink. The people to my right tell me, "I'm glad they spoke to you, I thought they were ignoring you." I informed them I was here before Everyone else. Not...
