What a wonderful restaurant in Saint Jean de Luz! We arrived for an early dinner after a long travel day and WOW! From the moment we entered this establishment, until we left, we felt welcomed and appreciated! The owner, Olivier went through the menu and was dead on when he told us the chicken was his specialty! Wonderful selection of sides, and the homemade sauces were amazing! Everything was well prepared, presented, and tasted delicious! We had to try dessert! His wife is the pastry chef and she went through the dessert menu with us! They did not disappoint! To top it off, the total was under 55 EURO! ( We did not have alcohol). Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants a wonderful meal, made fresh, using...

5 stars isn't enough.

Fantastic 'find' and well worth the visit. The 4 of us were looking for somewhere to eat when all the brassieres were closed and came across this place. We were welcomed in, offered a table and had the menu and the choice system explained to is (in perfect English) then given time to decide.

Great fun was had choosing - involved lots of chat and precious little phone time. Food came after about 20 minutes and was sooo tasty. Everyone tried food from the other plates. And the end result was 4 almost licked clean plates.

Can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're in the area -...

Delighted to find this small restaurant with charming family in charge. The specialties are chicken, duck, and pork. One can order a combo. The duck (canard) was delicious. The organization is that for the plate, one chooses a meat (or vegetarian) main and then a sauce (multiple hot and cold options) and three sides( again multiple hot and cold options). Everyone fluent in French, English, German. We happened upon this contemporary petite space by accident, but our good fortune. It was open early for dinner, which was important to us as we are staying in Erromardie, and last...

Fabulous. What a find. Stumbled across this restaurant as the busy lunch rush was ending (otherwise would not have got a seat! Always a good sign). Wife had plat de jour (salmon & 2 sides) I had the pork, chicken, duck & sides. Just to die for. Perfectly cooked & presented. Olivier was the perfect host. Meal accompanied by a glass of red each, 2 deserts, Flan vanille & choux chantilly (wow!) & coffee. All freshly prepared on the premises using local ingredients. If you like good food, you won’t be disappointed. Pity we’re leaving tomorrow as Sunday is apparently Chicken Cassoulet!!!!
