A party of 12 visited here in July, the staff and owner were extremely accommodating and attentive from hats for the sun to blankets for the wind! Now the main event the food, what can I say there was a big enough party of us to try most things and it didn’t disappoint! The food was excellent from start to finish, and excelled in quality!from the clams to the mussels all were beautifully stunning! The beef carpaccio was unbelievable! The mains were stunning and the finale of desserts were just WOW WOW WOW!!! Empty plates all round tells you enough! Would I return to this restaurant a definite YES! Read moreAbsolutely one of the top 10 lunches I’ve ever had. Every aspect of this place is perfect. The most amazing views imaginable. The service was extraordinary, with the staff not only incredibly helpful and English speaking, but quick as greased lightning. Our food came in less than 10 minutes.
And the food itself was amazing. The carpaccio perfectly prepared. The foiegras decadent and delicious. The charcuterie plate, the bread, the pâté, everything is an absolute 10/10.
Our waitress showed extraordinary kindness to our table, and even gave one of us a charming souvenir for our trip.
I say without hyperbole it is worth coming to Gauthery for this...

We shared the "chipirons à la plancha" and the "mi-cuit" (photographed below).
The squid was well served and cooked very well, my only criticism was that there should be more of the Basque chilli sauce (the small orange dots) to accompany the dish and not purely used to decorate it.
The mi-cuit was light yet decadent. A real tasty treat!
