Veggie's Corner — Restaurant in Besançon

This is the first time I am leaving a review for a restaurant I haven't dined in, yet it still left a great impression. We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant whilst on holiday in Besançon. The restaurant looks cosy and cute so we went in not knowing what it serves. After being welcomed warmly, it turned out that it is mainly burgers.We were after something other that fast food, so we left again. On the way out, we were asked in a very nice and genuinely concerned way what was wrong to make us leave. This has never happened to me before but says a great deal about how the place is run. They clearly very much care about getting things right for the customer and I loved that. The burgers looked really good...

Coming from a big city in the UK to live in Franche Comté has normally meant sacrificing accessible vegan food, until now. This isn't just great as a unique restaurant in Besancon, it is s exceptional vegan food. The kebab seitan is perfectly textured, wafer thin, generous in portion and flavour. The cakes are moist and light. Inside, the casual seating area is fresh and modern. The chef explained they've relocated from Paris, and it shows. Un restaurant façon fast food de qualité! Les kebabs et les burgers sont exceptionnels! Tout est bon, les buns, les steaks végétales, le kébab végétalien sont vraiment à découvrir tellement ils sont bluffant autant pour leurs aspect que par leur goût! N'étant pas végétalienne, le goût de leur viande végétale donne vraiment envie de ne plus consommer de viande... Ou moins tellement c'est ressemblant. Je pourrais écrire des lignes de commentaires mais je vous invite fortement à goûter par vous-même ! Le meilleur burger et le meilleur kebab de Besançon sont désormais logés rue Claude Pouilley! Les desserts et boissons maison sont également sensationnels. Le seul bémol c'est que le restaurant est mal indiqué (pas d'enseigne) mais se trouve juste en face de la petite adresse. Par ailleurs, le chef n'hésite pas à venir discuter avec les clients pour connaître leurs avis et impression ce qui est pour ma part d'un grand professionnalisme. Cela permet de recueillir toutes les critiques pour être encore meilleur (ça va être dur!). En plus les toilettes sont magnifiques et propres... Encore un gage d'hygiène! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour déguster vos burgers et kébab maison! Merci pour cette magnifique...
