CHICKEN LILAS — Restaurant in Bobigny

The quality of the food is fresh and amazingly delicious. It comes off as just a small fast food place and the prices can’t be beat anywhere else in Paris, but don’t let that fool you as to the quality of the food. Definitely recommend this place. You won’t find better food on a budget when in Paris. My boyfriend and I ate here 3 times in our 4 day visit and felt full and more satisfied than any other restaurant we visited. If we could give more stars, we would.

Notre aventure chez Chicken Lilas a démarrée de façon un peu décevante. Peu de considération pour le client entrant dans le restaurant. Nous aurions apprécié un « bonsoir » ou alors un signe de tête amical, mais cela était apparemment réservé à l’a clientèle habituelle. Combien de pizzas faut-il ingurgiter pour être salué d’une manière familiale et intime ? Comme disait le chef étoilé Joël Robuchon : "On ne peut pas faire de cuisine si l'on n'aime pas les gens." Dommage.

Nous avons attendu longtemps. Cependant nous avons été servi rapidement dès lors que notre commande fut comprise. Elle était prête depuis un moment et nous attendait patiemment sur le four, la coquine.

Est venue ensuite la dégustation. Notre pizza Margarita Maxi était gustativement honnête, tenant des promesses sans être trop prétentieuse à la fois. Le goût simple et rustique de la sauce tomate et du fromage était au rendez-vous. N’est-ce pas le plus important me direz vous ? Nous l’avons partagée entre amis et même trempée dans un peu de guacamole, malgré les olives.

The app says it’s open till 2 AM . By open they mean that there’s an open window and you can communicate your order with the owners through the window and they’ll make it for you. It was decent for an after 12 munch. Haven’t been there in their regular hours . I got the Maxi with fries...
