We are a family of foodies - we read the reviews and thought this is a place we have to try. We were not disappointed. Between us, we tried almost everything on the menu. Everything was excellent - but what impressed us most was that every dish was unique and distinct --- not the usual use the same sauce with 5 different proteins ...

Everything was wonderfully spiced - flavorful, but not over done. One of the dishes, the porc curry, was rated 3 chilis - the chef - tried to steer me away saying it was very hot - I did not find it extreme (and I have had things too spicy for me to eat) - but at the perfect level where any more would be too much.

All in all, a meal that ranks among the top 2 or 3 indian meals I have had - and the only one that came from a takeaway place.

It is interesting how sometimes you end up in a place you didn’t plan for at all. This is what happened to us. we were going to Turin from Annecy, but because of a bike race we were stuck for couple hours in this town. It was lunch time so we looked at what was available. Since i had never tried food from Sri Lanka, we stopped at this place, Lanka Food. It was true serendipity. Food was excellent, homemade, full of flavor. All spices were custom mixed by the owner, creating such unique flavors. We tried aubergine monju aux dattes which was unbelievable as well as curry d’agneau and chicken curry both excellent

SIMPLY THE BEST TAKEAWAY IVE EVER VISITED!! This place is awesome and a ‘must visit’ when visiting Praz. The food is simply excellent. The dishes are passionately prepared by the chef (you can tell his enthusiasm when speaking to him) and they are of the best south asian food I’ve ever had. We are a vegan family and struggle to get good quality vegan food in France - Lanka Food is the exception. Their vegetable dishes are all vegan friendly and we had a choice of five superb dishes.
