Le Sucré Salé — Restaurant in Bonneville

Right off the bat, we were welcome by a grumpy lady and when we asked for a menu, she showed us a QR code stuck on the table as though we were two morons. So from service standpoint, we are not ahead a great start. Then we ordered crepes (by the way crepes and pancakes are two different things, just saying) and we got them straight from the fridge, cold and soggy basically. First time ever I get served leftover crepes, especially for the price you pay in a ski resort... I decided to be nice with my review of the atmosphere, but even that was far from great. Despite some of the reviews about service, we found the lady who served us here to really friendly and attentive. We visited three times over the course of our holiday.

Once for dinner, and twice more for dessert and a drink.

The vegan tart was really tasty and seemed to be freshly made, a good portion size and at a reasonable price. And, the chocolate cake was really tasty, it was nice to find a dessert that was also suitable for vegans.

We went on Christmas Eve to Sucré Salé and enjoyed the Tartiflette. It was really delicious and lived up to the other 3 we had had all around Flaine. It looks like a family run business and the woman who served us was lovely. They weren’t serving food until 7:00pm, so I asked if we could sit and drink until then and they said sure.
