We met Ani as a tour guide and he studies wine and he recommended this place. We know enough about wine to be dangerous! We’ve traveled a ton of wine destinations and look for unique wine. Read moreWe had a wonderful experience at Couleurs du Vin! We were initially drawn to this spot because of its charming location in a quieter alley with stunning views of the Basilique Saint Michel. The opportunity to try a selection of organic wines was a big plus for us. Since we wanted to sample a broad range of wines during our short stay in Bordeaux, we opted for the 7-wine tasting. Each selection was thoughtfully curated, beautifully showcasing the diverse ‘vocal range’ of the region while maintaining a unique character for each wine.
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, graciously accommodating our limited French with friendly English exchanges. We also appreciated that this is a women-owned establishment, which added a special touch to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed, authentic, and thoughtfully curated wine experience...
