Went to this place with my friend late in the evening yesterday. It was our first evening hang-out in Bordeaux. We did not plan to stay that long in that place since it was soon to be closed, so we ordered THE most easiest of food to make in the menu, just to grab a quick bite before our next plan. In the end it took about 15-20 minutes and it came to us with take-away package, even though no one asked. We decided to eat in, since they have welcomed other customers. Just as we were in the middle of our meal the staff wanted us to leave đł /and believe me, we eat fast/. I totally understand that the staff wanted to close, but there were 3 other customers who were waiting for their food. Plus what do you expect us to do leave the meal that we bought, or go out and eat in the street? It's December, people. 5 minutes later another staff came to us and also asked us to leave. And of course there were still other customers.
I am fond and always in respect of service industry and people who work in that industry, I too worked as a part-timer in restaurants when I was a student. So, I am not pulling "Karen" in that situation. But it would have been not only polite but also humane for them just to wait us to finish the meal while concentrating on delivering the food to other customers who were waiting.
Anyways, thanks for the...
Read moreSome of the worst noodles I've ever tasted. This is not Japanese food. There was way too much sauce and the noodles were so overcooked that the consistency was kind of gross. I couldn't eat them and had to get something else instead. The fries were fine and the vegetable gyoza/dumplings were OK. The staff was friendly and helpful, not only with me, but also with someone else who didn't understand what there was to order or how to use the ordering machines. I'll never go back because I'd rather just be hungry than eat...
