Le Transalpin — Restaurant in Briançon

In the week we have been in Montgenevre skiing, we have came here twice for dinner. The restaurant is modern and bright inside. The menu isn't extensive but what they do offer is excellent. Pasta with wild boar one night while my wife had the lasagne, both empty plates. Next night pork with potatoes and roast veggies while my wife had chicken marsala, again fantastic. Then the desserts....incredible too. Over the 2 nights we've had tiramisu, lemon tart, affogato and semifreddo. All delicious. We found the staff here to be quite rude. The waiter with tattoos clearly didn’t want to be working here, after pouring our wine he slammed the bottle down on the table, splashing one of our party with red wine. The lady waiter started clearing our plates before everyone had finished eating, she reached across someone who was still eating to clear another plate.

It is a pity, as the food was pretty good, the pizza I had was excellent and the rest of our party seemed happy...

My husband and me ate 2 Pizzas One Bufala and Salomon are not good...we are disaponted i asked the personal there is not honey in my pizza then he told me they forgot...without to excuse...they are not cheerful.... And it is firt time i came to this restaurant...we will not come back again so if someone wants to eat there he should insisted that he get every thing in the deal.
