What a hidden gem. Love this wine bar. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful In choosing wines for you. We sampled lots before we settled on some beautiful wines. We often bought a bottle and kept it behind the bar for the next visit. Due to a closure on our last evening, he left a charming postscript to the message board and made sure we got our bottle (see the photo) The snack boards are simply delicious and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is chilled and relaxing after a hard days skiing. Tables can be reserved if you like. The decor is lovely with many handmade pieces by the owner himself. This is a lovely owner managed wine bar with some food. It truly is a labour of many loves… the wine takes centre stage, supplemented by the cool music vibes and the amazing but limited food. From a wine perspective, there seems to be something for everyone, all at very reasonable prices and served expertly. The owner has a great passion and excellent knowledge for wine. The food is proudly served as local specialities, and the music played through a high quality sound system. I particularly enjoyed looking through the selection of classic vinyl albums. Great little wine, hidden away just one street back from the main road. Well worth hunting out, best to pre book to avoid disappointment. We shared a platter for four, what a delicious selection from the 4 corners of France. Great local beer, and excellent choice of wine to suit all budgets and tastes, classy chilled out vibe, good background music. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, we had a great time. 18.3.25 Our second visit and will definitely see you again when we are back...
