I had high expectations after reading the reviews. We booked and sat outside on the terrace. We felt that we were being rushed for our order and under pressure. I had the sweetbreads with cream and mushroom and my husband had the rump steak pave. The sweetbreads were so salty that it was hard to get past that to taste the dish and I know it is called grain of salt, but this was overpowering. The steak was almost impossible to cut and very chewy to eat, so not pleasant. We found once we put the order in that we only saw the staff in transactional situations and there wasn't any...

Came across this place by accident. We went through this village roaming around on our bikes, stopped off for lunch and I'm glad we did! The food was AMAZING! Lors de notre passage, c’est un jour de marché… les tables se remplissent rapidement. Nous choisissons 2 menus gourmands à 32 € par personne ainsi que 2 pichets de 25 cl (rosé et rouge) à 10 € l’unité. Tartare de saumon pour l’un et Carpaccio de St Jacques sur un lit de lentilles pour l’autre. La fraîcheur et le bon goût sont au rendez-vous. Puis Risotto également aux St Jacques pour l’un et pavé de saumon pour l’autre… tout est bon sauf les frites ( à améliorer !)… la présentation des plats est aussi perfectible car elle se résume à quelques feuilles de salade. Quant au dessert, une pavlova aux fraises bien réussi et un Paris Brest revisité en Paris Brioude très savoureux. Globalement satisfaits par l’accueil de la patronne et du cuisinier moins par la serveuse qui manque cruellement de convivialité. À 43 €/personne le rapport qualité / prix n’est pas atteint ! … mais c’est une bonne adresse...
