Café de la basilique — Restaurant in Brioude

We celebrated our very special day at the Cafe Basilic with our family and friends . It was a beautiful sunny day with the backdrop of the stunning Basilic Gill and Fabian the charming ownners made it the most special time for us We had our own table beautifully decorated drinks were served lots of tasty nibbles what more could you ask for . The square has a amazing ambiance all the local restaurants and nougat shop contributes to the atmosphere which makes it like a small village .I highly recommend The Cafe Basilic The service is second to none the owners are very professional and friendly. They really made our day ,and our friends took away a small souvenir of the day from the boutique which was lovely . Goes without saying we will be back Anne Marie and Claude and...

Accueil et amabilité inexistants. Première fois de ma vie qu'on me fait une histoire pour un verre d'eau. On parle d'eau du robinet monsieur, détendez-vous.

En réponse à votre commentaire Monsieur : D'une, on ne parle pas d'un verre d'eau oublié mais d'un verre d'eau que vous avez rechigné à offrir à quelqu'un qui avait soif. Pas très chrétien pour le "café de la Basilique". Et au lieu de répondre de façon hostile et avec mauvaise foi, vous pourriez simplement vous excuser et essayer de faire mieux pour vos prochains clients. Ce que font les vrais commerçants. Quant à GP, ce sont mes initiales monsieur, pas l'acronyme d'un obscur et mesquin petit espion! Vous n'avez pas besoin de savoir comment je m'appelle et votre identité ne m'intéresse nullement non plus. Se souvenir de cet endroit comme d'un lieu où ne pas retourner est suffisant. Ne vous embêtez pas à répondre que ça tombe bien, vous ne nous attendez pas, c'est prévisible.

Vou ne devez pas être dans le besoin puisque que vous ne cherchez pas à fidéliser vos clients. Continuez à payer vos charges en parlant mal aux clients et ça devrait bien aller pour vous . Je passe mon chemin avec plaisir, merci. Bonne journée.

Gilles , the host, was very kind, helpful and warm hearted. We had car problems and ended up in this village. He did all he could to help us with finding a hotel, restaurant etc. The wines and chacuterie were great, the place is small and very cozy, a mix of cafe, bijouterie shop and religious things, right next to the basilique.
