La Villa — Restaurant in Céret

You can tell from my reviews that I am always inclined to positive reviews but I had to share the experience at La Villa. We got one starter; the patas bravas, the sauce was congealed on top. We asked for a burger with just cheese for our son and it came out wrong twice and the third time it was literally inedible with the amount of salt. I got the mussels and chips and the chips were stone cold and I sent them back. My husbands pizza wasn’t ordered even though we checked the order so he waited 20 more minutes for that. The mussels were to have a Chirizo cream sauce which was just poured over the top pre prepared mussels. After quietly giving feedback the one glass of wine and an zero alcohol beer we’re comp’d so we walked away dissatisfied, hungry and 75...

Good view. Good vegetarian salad for a change which was good (extra star for that)....but my dish of Catalane grill was hugely overcooked, the pepper was cindered to a crisp and the meat not much better. The chips were cold and reheated oily mess or burnt. The service was poor and the wine only by bottle or a glass, with no glass options on the menu and nothing proposed except 'glass' white or red. And at 6euro the most expensive wine around. Recommendation, find another place. PS I usually never post anything but can not...

Attrape touristes!Nous avons pris 2 menus a 30euros chacun (entree+plat+dessert) et un verre de vin. Le vin etait plutot correct. Les moules gratinées en entree etaient tres grasses et pas fraiches.J'ai pris un pavé de saumon qui n avait malheureusepent aucun gout et qui etait egalement tres gras. Mon conjoint a pris des calamars à la plancha recouverts d une persillade, les calamars etaient surement tres bon cependant il y avait tellement de persillade et surtout d'ail que le gout des calamars n'y etait pas. Les frites etaient bonnes, je regrette juste d'avoir réclamé un peu d'aïoli qui m'a couté 2euros de supplement (sans qu'on me previenne). En dessert une tarte choco banane pas mauvaise. Je pense qu il faut soit baisser les prix soit faire un petit effort en cuisine. Le meilleur pour la fin, le monsieur au comptoir qui nous a encaissé a refusé de prendre notre 2eme carte dejeuner pour regler une addition de 67euros pretextant que c etait la loi!!! Alors que tous les autres restaurants ou nous sommes passés n'ont pas posé de probleme! Je suis d accord sur le fait que chaque restaurateur fasse ce qu il veut dans son restaurant mais il aurait été plus commercial en ce cas de nous faire 2 additions etant donné qu il y avait 2 menus et surtout 2 payeurs. Bref je n'y reviendrais pas et ne recommande pas ce restaurant. La note de "3" sur google aurait du m interpeller. Neanmoins la jeune fille qui nous a servi a été adorable et...
