It's a modern cafe, restaurant & bar on the sea front at Ouistreham. It has plenty of outdoor seating, mini golf and a balcony & terrace area overlooking the beach & sea.
We sat outside for drinks only. It's a pleasant enough location, bright & well lit at night. But it is very expensive, a glass of calvados is 8 euros and draught beer, 1664, is also just over 8 euros. Now that's alot of money. We paid over £100 for 10 1664s and 5 calvados, and that was without any food. Service I have to say was OK, the first night I'd have had to have given a rating of three. With limited bars open this time of year it was a case of having to drink here rather than we'd like to drink here.
We paid, by comparison, alot less for a meal at Le Goeland, paying 243 euros for our evening meal and considerably more drinks. The service was great, the staff there were so friendly. The menu was great and I had the foi gras to start followed by the entrecote with a cheese sauce shame they didn't have pepper sauce and vinegar. But apart from that great chips and the steak was delicious. I have to mention the fish and chips. The fish was so fresh and so we'll cooked it's probably the best fish I have ever had. I picked a normandy desert which came out as a sundae it was amazing and partnered up with one of the best Irish coffees ever you have to try one. If your in the area it's well...

When we visited there was a bouncy castle which kept the children entertained brilliantly and a round of mini golf was included for free with the meal.
Would recommend for families with children 👍Hope to visit again in the future.
The food options were decent and with a great find for a Coeliac in our party with the Galettes De Sarrasin (buckwheat pancakes) gluten free, quite rare to find!
Thanks for the...
