La table d'hôtes — Restaurant in Caen

This was not a Michelin starred restaurant, but rather one they recommend. Plus the owner of the B&B I stayed at also said it was v. good. I sometimes think places like this is better than a 1 star restaurant because they are trying hard to earn that first star but their prices are not overly expensive. Once you've got that star you can start to charge more. My wife and daughter had the fix menu for dinner which, at 33 Euros, was a bargain I think. I got greedy and got the 51 E one which meant more course! Including two deserts! Greedy piglet. Even at 51 E it was worth it. I hope to go back again and if, by then they have gotten their first star, I wouldn't be surprised. Just hope the prices...

An absolutely outstanding restaurant, owned by people who truly care about the quality of the food, service and entire experience. If you find yourself in Ouistreham and want an absolute treat this is the restaurant for you.

The tasting menu was beautiful, cooked perfectly and easily one of our top 5 meals ever. A menu of all our favourite things presented beautifully, particularly the most amazing Turbot I have had.

The owners should be very proud of what they have created here and we can not wait to comeback again next time we are travelling.

My suggestion is the sample menu a pure gastronomic experience where Michelin starred chef Yoann displays his absolute skill in the kitchen.
