So good, so charming, so... everything! :-) Actually we are a bit fed up of all those gourmet creative restaurants, so this one was some kind of a fresh air. Tastes were rich and of a very good balance, simple from the first sight, but yet very delicate and thoughtfull. The atmosphere was very cozy, friendly and intimate. It was a great dinner! Mon nouveau restaurant préféré en Normandie ! Expérience culinaire et service au sommet ! Quelle merveilleuse découverte que le Bouchon du Vaugueux ! L'expérience fut un sans-faute absolu, de l'entrée au dessert, et un service irréprochable. En entrée, le Foie Gras Mi-cuit maison était une véritable réussite, d'une finesse remarquable. J'ai ensuite opté pour l'entrecôte maturée par leurs soins, un plat d'exception. La viande, d'une tendreté et d'un goût incroyables, était magnifiquement mise en valeur par une purée de carottes divine, des petites patates parfaitement rôties et une sauce béarnaise maison à tomber. Un vrai moment de plaisir pour les papilles. J'ai poursuivi avec une assiette de bons fromages locaux de Normandie, qui ont parfaitement fait la transition avant un final gourmand : un excellent moelleux au chocolat maison, réconfortant et parfaitement exécuté. Le service mérite une mention spéciale : l'équipe est impeccable, souriante et rapide. On sent une excellente connaissance des produits servis, et leurs conseils sont précieux.
