Somewhere between good and very good. Initially thought they were being funny when I walked in and the guy asked me to sit at a certain table instead of sitting where I wanted, there was only 1 table being used by customers! But it did get busy pretty soon after so that was fine. Food was OK although not particularly hot, even though I ordered Madras. Naan bread was nice but they're only small so you'll need one each. Paneer tikka was nice as a starter and another nice touch was the papad and lime pickle to accompany it. Nice location right down by the seafront. Easy and free parking if you're wondering. Will definitely go back when I'm staying in Calais

Food - really good Location - perfect, on the beachfront Vibes- the interiors are really nice and desi Songs played are Hindi too. We visited while roaming around the beach on our way at back to London. The place is popular and was packed. We got a table for two but had to wait sometime to place our order. There were so many people! The food was tasty and bette than I expected when I saw the staff were not desi. I was happily surprised by the authentic food. Recommend the tandoori items and also sea food. We ordered prawns and they were fresh n juices. If you are in Calais spending time on the beach do truly try place.

Lovely location with ample parking. The owner himself will ask you if you are happy with the food. The interiors give you a feel of India. Tastefully done. Food is delicious and portions are good. We ordered 2 dishes with naan and rice and it was difficult to finish. Price is reasonable too. They have a good selection of wines to match the flavour of the dishes. If you seat outside you can watch the channel ferry pass by.

We were travelling with a 3 year old and a chihuahua, it was a cold January and not many pet-friendly were open. I spoke to the owner/manager who let us eat in with our chihuahua (securely sat in his travel bag) The service was 10/10 we were offered complementary dishes on both occasions we were there and the food was delicious. Food was cooked mild and a spicy sauce was provided on the side, that way our toddler enjoyed the food and so did we, topping ours with the spice. Portion size are good and I think it's really good value for money, as all the curries come with generous portion of rice. Definitely visit here again on our next...

Really enjoyed food from this restaurant. I haven't had food this good for a while I had the Karai Chicken with basmati rice because couldn't do big food at lunch time. It was piping hot but not too spicy. The pickle tray wasn't the best I've had however the popadom was hard and burnt and the pickles weren't what I would usually choose ie onion and mint salad, mango chutney, mint raiti and coriander dips. The tray had some kind of aubergine dips which were a bit sour to my tastes. Overall though waiters were very good and the food was hot nice and plentyful I would definitely visit again and recommend to all who like...
