WATCH OUT before ordering the PAELLA. While ordering they will ask you for how many (They are not asking for the amount of plates but for the portions).Be very careful and say at most HALF OF THE ACTUAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE around. You're lucky if you're able to eat half (even when really hungry). They clearly do this to increase their profit by SELLING YOU TOO MUCH!!!

While asking for a package to take the leftover food with the service lady smiled in a way that clearly told you that this is standard. Keep in mind it wasn't a bit of leftovers or that we weren't really hungry, yet it was still impossible for us to even finish half.

The food is fine and you can definitely go eat there but keep the stuff mentioned above in mind so you don't get OVERCHARGED.

When asking for the amount of people while ordering the paella they will take that number and let you pay 30€ times the number you tell them. So ask for the amount of plates you want but tell them half or even less the amount of people when it comes to "the how many people paella" question.

Non do una sola stella perché spero sia andata male solo a noi. Le serate storte succedono. Ma ecco la nostra esperienza: Una pealla minimo due persone 30€ in realtà vuol dire che devi ordinare minimo due porzioni. Mettiamo che ci sia l'incomprensione linguistica. Ma come si può chiedere di spendere 60€ per un piatto enorme, ENORME, solo per due persone? La metà infatti è rimasta lì, ed è la cosa che mi ha fatto più arrabbiare. Lo spreco proprio non lo tollero. Io provo a dare il mio suggerimento: se avessimo ordinato (ottenendo) una porzione consona per due persone , avremmo sicuramente ordinato dell'altro invece così siamo andati via solo con l'amaro in bocca. Poi oltre a questa incomprensione sulle porzioni (e lo spreco di cibo) aggiungo anche che il riso era stracotto . Una mezza poltiglia. Dalla mia esperienza io lo sconsiglio caldamente. Ps: ho saltato la parte in cui ho chiesto di cambiare tavolo perché mi cadevano dei pezzettini di intonaco addosso e sul tavolo, niente di doloroso ma volevo evitare di bere e mangiare coriandoli di intonaco... tavolo che cmq hanno ceduto ad altri. Abbiamo bevuto un mojito e una sangria perché il vino era rincarato fin troppo. Paella...

Su consiglio della proprietaria del residence dove abbiamo alloggiato a Calvi, ci siamo recati da Chez Paco e sinceramente abbiamo fatto bene a seguire il suo consiglio perché abbiamo mangiato molto bene e abbiamo passato una serata carina. Abbiamo subito dedotto che un piatto molto in voga era la paella che fanno sia di pesce che mista. Proprietario del locale molto gentile (parla italiano abbastanza bene) e camerieri ugualmente gentili e disponibili. Locale che fa cucina di influenza spagnola. In due abbiamo preso due birre chiare leggermente fruttate (buonissime!!), acqua, prosciutto patanegra come antipasto e una paella di mare, che da quanto era grande potevano mangiarci 4 persone, ed infine caffè. Voglio soffermarmi un attimo sulla paella perché a mio avviso era veramente deliziosa, ricca di pesce buono, ben cotta e anche se era grande ce la siamo quasi spazzolata tutta perche buonissima!! Tutto comunque molto buono. Conto finale 110 euro, in quanto la paella comunque viene 27/28 euro a testa ma visti i prezzi della Corsica per mangiare fuori e la quantità ci sta benissimo!! Ci tornerei...
