Phenomenal hospitality and superb dining in this cozy boutique hotel and gourmet restuant. Not huge in size, however the rooms are spacious and immaculate. It's very modern and artsy similar to think, Guggenheim showing Warhol. Sush a contrast from the medevial Cite just a km down the road. All your expectations will be met, Americans will love the convenience of working air conditioning and mini fridge stocked with purified and sparkling water. The shower is absolutely fab, and the luxurious towels and bedding will keep you comfy. Prepare to extend your stay and take your time exploring the wonderful city of Carcassonne, there is no better way beyond the cite walls. The pool experience is out of this world and if you like fire grilled seafood and meats, the restaurant will delight your toungue and generous portions will fill your belly. The art, lending library and large stock if board games will keep you entertained if the weather keeps you inside. It doesn't get better in France if you are seeking a modern, and unique stay that stands apart from it's local competition, Le Meez is the bees knees.

As you drive into the hotel you may be a little bit worried about the location of the hotel. It is in a small commercial area close to the main roads. But don’t let this put you off - it is actually quite a convenient location. 3 mins drive to Carcassonne historic centre and close to the main roads. We didn’t notice any noise from the roads. ||Our check-in experience was, let’s say, entertaining as the (only) lady on reception had three parties to check-in and ensured each got the personal experience the hotel offers. 30 minutes later we were shown to our room which i have to say was lovely. Modern, spacious, fresh, with comfortable bed, nice linen and products. We really enjoyed the hotel and used it as a base for exploring Carcassonne the wider area and it always felt nice coming back ‘home’ after a day out. Breakfast was lovely. The pool area nice. Overall a great experience for us and we would choose Le Meez for our next stay...

Le Meez , just remember this name for the Best hotel in Carcassonne ! I have stay for few days with my family at this hotel. Stepping through the lobby, I was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area . Light airy, and very specious ... very welcoming and elegant .|The Staff throughout hotel , very friendly and helpful , professional .|The hosts of Le Meez are the heart of this hotel . You can see and feel their passion about hospitality . |Location is very good , just about 5 minutes by car from the Carcassonne Medieval Castle .|Rooms are specious and well equiped , with amazing view !|We tried also restaurant , which was amazing , surprising change from all the Carcassonne menu " a la tourist" . |I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for tourist who would like to visit Carcassonne. We will be back to...
