After looking at the differents options on the menu, we were recommended by the waitress the 'menu/plat du jour' tagine de poisson, who was not written anywhere on the menu.. Thinking it was 17 âŹ.. When we ask for the bill at the end, she said the 'plat du jour' was 23âŹ! Apparently it was written on the board outside... So when I checked, the board was turned over, hidden, and it was actually a Menu du Jour at 23âŹ, including a dessert that she never mentioned at any time. I told her, then she got really upset and became aggressive and rude, saying it was our fault because we coudn't read... The owner of the restaurant heard our conversation and came to see us, apologise and offered us coffees, saying she was tired and grumpy...and she was still moaning inside the restaurant complaining about us !! ... to summarise, bad experience with very average plat du jour and very rude and grumpy waitress... Will never go...
   Read moreOver the years I have always eaten well here and appreciated absolutely the very friendly and efficient (as any, anywhere) Staff / Service. I have to wonder, always, when hearing reports of 'non service' whilst all around are satisfied, whether the complainers, by their attitude ir approach, may not have given the resto staff good reason for the neglect !? - and, as we all know, there are also a fair few 'professional complainers' around too! Nous avons passĂ©s commande Ă 21h20 et avons Ă©tĂ© servis Ă 21h55. Un service trĂšs long (on nous avait prĂ©venu de lâattente, mais seulement de 10 minutes). En plus de ça, un plat a Ă©tĂ© oubliĂ© et la personne a mangĂ© 15 minutes aprĂšs nous. Nous nâavions pas dâeau, ni de pain sur la table et une personne nâavait pas de fourchette et a du demander 2 fois pour en avoir une. Les plats commandĂ©s : chers pour ce que câĂ©tait. Un magret de canard au miel mais nous nâavons pas eu une once de miel, une sauce Ă©chalote pour le poisson qui Ă©tait en fait, une sauce moutarde ou encore une salade avec des ingrĂ©dients qui nâĂ©taient pas notifiĂ©s sur la carte. Sans parler de la cuisson des plats qui nâĂ©tait pas respectĂ©e. Les coĂ»teaux pour la viande ont Ă©tĂ© dĂ©posĂ©s en bout de table et la serveuse nous a demandĂ© de les distribuer, un peu comme Ă la cantine. Au moment de lâaddition, le serveur, clope Ă la bouche derriĂšre le comptoir, nous dit trĂšs exactement : « Moi je sais pas les gars, comptez les frĂ©rots ».
