WORST SERVICE EVER Sadly the service from the waitress, (daughter of the owner, incredulously), was exceedingly rude. I am a frequent visitor to Trebes, being a home owner, and my French is improving, but I didn't understand the explanation of the fish of the day. When I said I didn't understand, she simply shouted it in French louder. I therefore beckoned the owner, who also only used the sane words in French. The waitress then came over to say it was like cod. Why did she not just say that when I asked??? For a restaurant to have repeat business they pught to be polite, and explain things to foreigners. It is simply their job, to help their customers to understand their menu. We had ordered pichet of Rosé wine, which, on arrival, looked like white. So I politely asked if it was Rosé, to be shouted at by the waitress that it was a pale rosé. We decided to leave, so I went inside to pay for the wine. Another customer, who was French, and had been sitting next to us, followed me inside to emphasise how badly we had been treated. Neither the owner or the waitress apologised!, Having eaten before, the food was very good, but good food with very bad service is not a good recipe. Mediocre food and fantastic service gets repeat customers. People who are made to feel stupid and not welcomewill never return. Au téléphone et sur les photos, ça donnait envie et je souhaitais y emmener un groupe de personnes suite à la visite au crématorium pour le décès de ma mère, quelques jours après le 13 juin. Mais pas possible vu l horaire, car c'est un restaurant, jusque là, tout était normal, donc nous y allons à trois avec mon mari et un ami, avant le dit rendez vous au crématorium et nous étions vraiment tranquilles, aimables, pas pressés. Arrivés tôt, nous avions 1h30 pour déjeuner ce qui est amplement suffisant. En lisant les commentaires des personnes qui ont vécu la même expérience que moi, je confirme : la présentation de la serveuse (sous prétexte d'être une entreprise familiale je suppose) est vraiment de l'ordre du laisser aller, hyper négligé et lunettes de soleil, mais là encore, ce n'est pas si grave.Elle avait l'air aussi très fatiguée nerveusement, ce qui peut se comprendre car nous ne sommes pas des machines... Par contre, arrivés à la fin pour payer, je vais à l'intérieur, ils étaient visiblement en conflit entre eux et je demande à payer et à ce qu on m emballe mon poisson vu que je dois partir et je ne souhaite pas laisser un beau morceau de thon, le tout avec calme, et je me fais littéralement agressée par la dite serveuse aux lunettes qui me dit devant les autres membres de la famille du restaurant, que " on va au restaurant quand on a pas le temps!" Une heure et demi qu on était là... Sur ce, ayant été super aimable jusque là, je l'ai envoyée balader exactement avec l effet miroir, en étant odieuse et en la tutoyant tant qu'à y être! Voilà pour le petit scandale avant d'aller au crématorium. Vraiment, nous sommes cools et compréhensifs mais faut pas exagérer non plus. Si vous en avez marre de ce boulot, faites votre possible pour vous en libérer parce que ce n'est pas de la faute des clients. Et, je m'abstiendrai d'autres commentaires désobligeants. DONT GO THERE , Don’t waste your money on such rude people . The waitress should instantly review her career choice , she spoke in french rude comments and complaining with noises doing « ohhhhhhh offfff » of annoyment every time we tried to order something , why do you do a waitress job when you hate it that much?
