Dined at Le Bistrot this evening. Recognized a haughtiness immediately at our impertinence of not knowing French but we were hungry and grateful they were open. Enjoyed the wine and the meal, Bistro burgers, until the waiter removed the plates. Then we discovered the live snail that had fallen off my plate and on to the table. No word of apology, no offer to comp the meal, no manager coming out to speak with us. When I suggested there should be no charge for the 20 euro burger with the snail in it, they reduced the price by three euros . 3 euros. We had taken a photo of the meal because it looked lovely... and you can see the snail half in the salad, half on the bun. If we had been locals wouldn't it have been a no brainer to apologize and comp the meal? That's common courtesy. Definitely do not recommend. We've encountered so many kind and courteous locals, but they definitely don't work at this restaurant!...

Once again, quality of the food was a highlight. âThe Burrata as an entrance was memorable. đŽThe peach pie as desert let me down. It was overcooked, the caramel was rough to eat and the dough tasted and seemed more like an biscuit over a pie dough. It was also lacking fruits on the top.

Les tentacules de poulpe et le magret Ă©taient bien prĂ©parĂ©s. Au moment de desservir, la serveuse a demandĂ© si tout allait bien, nous avons dit ce qui allait et ce qui n'allait pas et que nous avions Ă©tĂ© déçus car pas Ă la hauteur des fois prĂ©cĂ©dentes. Il y a eu aussi beaucoup d'attente. Nous avons prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© ne pas prendre de dessert afin de ne pas risquer d'ĂȘtre plus déçus.
