Un véritable irish pub avec son comptoir et patères en laiton et cuivre, des plaques bistro vintage aux murs, des tables écossaises, du vert, du rouge. Un bar accueillant et chaleureux, une superbe ambiance, une équipe au top et à l'écoute même lors de grandes affluences, une cuisine gourmande et généreuse, un choix incroyable de bières, whisky, bourbons... Tout y est pour passer un moment génial, en toute convivialité, sympathisant facilement avec les autres personnes présentes, à la façon d'une grande famille. Gros plus : le Killbegan's propose la diffusion d'évènements sportifs avec plusieurs écrans disposés de façon ce que tout le monde puisse en profiter. Au top !!!

Un mercredi soir de janvier à Cherbourg, pas grand chose d'ouvert pour manger un morceau avant d'aller au théâtre. Une lumière nous attire, nous poussons la porte du Kilbeggan S. On a l'impression d'être outre Manche dans un vrai pub Irlandais, décoration avec beaucoup de bois et des affiches anciennes. Ici on vient surtout pour boire de la bière toutes sortes de bières en écoutant de la musique, mais pour ceux qui ont un petit creux, on peut manger sans trop d'attente un burger un fish and chips ou commander le plat du jour. C'est simple mais c'est bon et les frites ont faites maison. Bref une bonne adresse que nous vous recommandons.

Better and wider variety of draft beers than most other Irish pubs around the world. One of the few places in France I visited where they speak English. No live music and a bit on expensive side though.

Passing through Cherbourg St. Patrick’s weekend, decided to stay the Saturday night. Arrived slightly late for the match but watched the second half in the hotel. Found this Irish pub close to the hotel. When I came in it was quite packed with people, some eating. The first thing I noticed was that no one was dinking Guinness. But luckily saw the tap on the bar. The pint was poured half full from a height and not 2 minutes later it was filled up, yet again from a height and tap towards the bar. How difficult is it to pour a Guinness PROPERLY. If you cannot do this, DONT SELL GUINNESS. Then I found out why no one was drinking it. An extortionate €9.50 for a pint!!! I went to Kilbeggens Irish Pub in Cherbourg last weekend to see the hurling final. All they had was French TV with no sky or RTE so we could not watch the match. About 15 other people came in asking if it was on. Also the people behind the bar had very little English. Might be laid out like an Irish pub. But it's not one for...

In cherbourg for the weekend for my sons birthdays. No real atmosphere in the place and none of the staff spoke any english. My son wanted his birthday meal here and got a burger, He also got a cigarette butt in his salad... Chef didn't wear gloves preparing food either. I would exercise caution...
