Le Gandhi — Restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand

They provided four different sauces along with every meals, I personally prefer the white mint sauce and the brown one, the chili paste one was too salty to me, otherwise it should be a good choice for me! Overall, the taste of meals we ordered is quite nice, but the chicken itself was a bit dry, nevertheless, the lamb was not bad! Oh! I like the texture of nan bread too. I ordered chai masala as an end, it was too sweet to me, however, the flavors was what I like! In addition, in my opinion, the price is a little high compared to the quantity...

Hadn't been in France for two years. So was wanting a good meal. We sat outside in the warm Clermont air which was great. Lots of space between people. Starter was onion bhaji which were an interesting take on onion rings. The main meal was very nice. Well cooked and presented. Very tasty. All reasonably priced. And the beer was cold which was just needed. Vegetarians would be a bit limited but if you eat prawns...

Je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de manger sur place, mais après une commande à emporter, je dois féliciter le personnel vraiment super sympa et TRÈS poli. Ça fait du bien! Même si du mal à se comprendre au téléphone à cause de l'accent du monsieur (je m'excuse vraiment), il est resté courtoix et patient. Et wow, le repas pour deux personnes n'a pas été finit (poulet et agneau tikka). Pourtant on mange de bonne quantité. Du coup le tout pour 26euros, -10%. 22. Ça reste raisonnable, surtout quand on voit qu'un restaurant comme l'Indian Saloon propose un plat simple onglet + frites maison à 18€ (la sauce c'est 0.50€). Alors certes la viande est très bonne, mais l'addition monte vite. Du coup Le Gandhi est vraiment top, et le cadre très calme, très discret et appréaciable; et son prix est encore un atout supplémentaire. Attention cependant à l'assaisonnement qui peut être fort pour certains. Mais personnellement j'adore! Et on sent les légumes dans la sauce, la cuisson est maîtrisée à ce niveau. Et vraiment, personnel génial, je suis repartie sourire aux lèvres (Et encore désolée de l'incompréhension...
