This place looks so plentiful and insanely detailed in the variety of what they offer that it’s hard to imagine it not being part of an international franchise. But it’s not! It’s all of their hard work coming across like it’s beautiful and rich. Food is insanely good, and that’s on both sides of the divide: sweet or savory. It’s great from the most basic (their types of baguettes) to ultra detailed pastries. A great pace for breakfast (their pain au chocolat is breathtakingly good), lunch, or even a well deserved snack after hiking the stunning Restonica valley or Capitello peak. Sometimes some of the waiting staff can be a little on the “rude side” of things, but it’s a human being kind of thing, and to be honest, we all really come to Grimaldi for the patisserie...

Oh là là... this is a place where everyone's dream comes true! You can sit down to enjoy your coffee with their homemade chocolates, huge variety of pastries, breads, salads or ice cream. Most unfriendly experience in entire Corsica. We entered well before closing time just to by a cafe to go. The two old ladies were very unfriendly and disrespectful. They could have just told us, that they wanted to close early.
