After a long search for inspiration in the culinary world, my friends and I stumbled upon this magnificent spot in Corsica. From the get-go, we were struck by the exceptional ambiance that both locals and travelers worldwide appreciate.
The taste of the dishes we tried exceeded all our expectations. Of particular note was our main choice - the tuna tartare and crispy fish. This was a gastronomic masterpiece that kept us talking for days. The tuna tartare was fresh, its flavor enhanced by a secret blend of herbs and spices. The crispy fish, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, added a delightful crunch to the mix. Every bite was a symphony of well-balanced flavors.
The service was another highlight of our visit. Attentive and professional staff ensured we felt welcomed and catered to, never leaving us wanting for anything.
In conclusion, this restaurant is a gem hiding in plain sight in Corsica. It was an enchanting culinary journey we embarked on, and we highly recommend it to all food enthusiasts who seek a unique dining experience.

Read moreI think you will enjoy this. It's a lovely location and the staff are great, a very friendly and connected team.
The details; The food varies; wild boar and chestnut soup to begin was outstanding, an instant taste of winter luxury. However medallions of boar with chestnuts and prunes was steeped in an extremely sweet jus that owed much more to the (possibly tinned) prunes than to the bones of the boar. (Diabetics beware!) The cheese course was OK, but our moderate hotel serves a more pungent local cheese for breakfast than was offered here.
The atmosphere at the turn of the season was nice, but some expert advice on lighting would make a big difference. (My first thought is candles!) A beautiful wood-panneled room at the centre of the restaurant could feel much warmer and intimate and be the best tables in the restaurant. Tables on the terrace would benefit from a warmer light and less heat from the radiant heaters.
The fact that I've said so much shows that I feel very content and well disposed to this restaurant and that a few tiny changes would make it a lot...

Not so good: service. A) we had 7 (!!) different people serving us. That seems uncoordinated and I like to build up a connection with our waiter. Very impersonal. B) friendliness. If you work in the service industry, you should know how to smile. Of all the waiters/waitresses we had, none was very friendly. They all seemed very tired, not motivated, annoyed. Not necessarily by the guests, but something wasn't right.
If you like a good meal and don't care about service, place is good. If you want a full experience,...
