Café Maxime — Restaurant in Draguignan

I travel from london to Ste Maxime every year. If you are not French do not come here.

In fact, if you do not know people in the small town of Ste Maxime do not come here. The bouncers and staff all work together to determine who can stay and for how long.

Stay away from this place, instead try the bar 'l'entroctote', 'maison bainca' or 'cafe de france'. If you want better atmosphere for nightlife go to St Tropez or Frejus. Better food go to Boho or Mi Piaca. Better drinks go to Maison Bianca or Le Nautic or even Fatto Benne for Pizza and drinks. Stay well clear of this place. It is run by an inner group of employees who determine who can and cannot enjoy. This place is as expensive as other bars and worse. From a man who has been to ste maxime for every year of my life, I assure you, you will be better elsewhere.

Ste maxime used to have the perfect balance of nightlife and class and now thanks to establishments shutting dowm and the mayor's principles it...

I am writing to share a concerning experience I had during my recent visit to Café Maxime.

While approaching the entrance, I was asked by a staff member about my nationality. After I replied that I am Russian, he proceeded to ask me to comment on the situation in Ukraine. I found this question extremely inappropriate and intrusive, especially coming from a staff member in a hospitality role.

I chose not to respond and left the area, feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. In my view, such political questioning has no place in a public venue and creates an atmosphere of tension and exclusion.

I hope this matter will be taken seriously and addressed with appropriate internal action. Every guest should be treated with respect, regardless of nationality or current...

I got a strike of extremely high tension on the terrace of this lovely Café.

The waiter immediately assisted with an icepack before I passed out. My wife hurried to get the car.. All this time the waiters comforted me and even held my hand.

When my wife arrived they informed her with the necessary info about doctors in the surrounding area. They also helped me towards the car.

I'll always remember this most kind service ever received in a bar! Even if we only drank some water and the bar was full because of the world...
