Restaurant Namaste — Restaurant in Draguignan

Our go to place for a great Curry in the Sainte Maxime area. Restaurant Namas has 2 areas of seating including both inside for air conditioning and an outside terrace. Last night we choice inside. This restaurant will accommodate all levels of spices for people who may like their curries milder or hotter (they like to say English Hot lol) Last night we ordered a Chicken Vindaloo and a Prawn Madras with Onion Nan Bread, Rice and Riata (a natural yogurt mixed with fresh tomatoes and cucumber) All dishes were fantastic, the flavors were amazing. My husband wiped his Prawn Masala dish clean with his Nan Bread. We ordered a Mango Lasi Drink which was great and a normal beer. Lastly we ordered a Sweet Rice dessert to end our meal. There aren't that many good Indian Restaurants in this area of France but this is definitely the best by far. Wonderful service...

Brilliant food, very well decorated, service was... "iffy". We came here on a weekday evening for dinner, they seemed to be pretty busy, but service was quick to start with. The food here is excellent, really really high standard. This is reflected in the prices, but great food nonetheless. There is an 'OK' selection of drinks. Most should find something they like from the drinks list. The service is professional for the most part. Though I must say it seemed like the staff didn't 'like' us. It's the best way I can describe it. It seemed like we were taking up a table they'd rather have given to somebody else. Almost like we weren't good enough for them. After a week in France, I was craving some Indian food and got my fix at Namaste! I was really excited to find this gem. The food was really clean and the flavours of the ingredients very refined, so I am sure the restaurant satisfies pallets of regular indian foodies and French pallets. We had a vegetarian in our party, so had all vegetable dishes. For me, more even than the food, the owners made my night with their lovely family values, warmth, kindness and generosity.
