We are a group of 6 staying in apartment 50. The apartment is a good size, very clean and bright with 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms & toilets. Large lounge/dinning area and outside terrace with table, chairs and sun umbrella. Kitchen area has a dishwasher, microwave, hob and kettle, all the utensils, tableware and pots and pans were in good as new condition. The location is good, just a 10 minute walk to Sainte Maxine centre, walking back is up a hill, so wouldn't recommend if you have reduced mobility. The swimming pool area is lovely and great for families with children, including smaller children's pools and a small water slide. Downsides are not many but some improvements could be made, particularly the air-conditioning. There is only one unit in the lounge area and it would be so much better if there was air conditioning in each of the bedrooms as it was to hot to sleep well at night. Also it would be handy to have an iron and ironing board in the apartment. The pool area could do with more sunbeds and umbrellas on the sun deck area. Each time we went there were no sunbeds free. On arrival one of the showers wasn't draining properly due to a blockage which we reported and the issue was resolved promptly by the onsite...
Read moreWe stayed for a week in one of the 2 bedroom apartments. It has an extremely well stocked kitchen and a lovely little balcony, complete with lounge chairs and a sun umbrella. The staff were wonderful, both in the reception area and in the restaurant. ||||Some of the apartments have quite a few steps to negotiate but they asked in advance if my mother could manage them and went ahead and put us in an apartment near the pool that had no steps which was kind of them. When we arrived the place was spotlessly clean, which we certainly appreciated. There is a lovely swimming pool as well as ample free parking. ||||The town of Sainte Maxime is close by at the bottom of the hill but it is a bit of a steep walk back which people who have difficulty walking should be aware of. We simply drove my mother to the bottom of the hill and then parked the car at the hotel and walked back. We did the same in reverse when we returned to the hotel. There is parking in the town but it can be hard to find when busy. ||||During the time we were there the Harley Davidson European festival was in full swing but we didn't hear any of the noise. It was very quiet and peaceful in our apartment. We will definitely...
Read moreWe arrived on a warm Saturday early afternoon. Found our way to reception and were given our instructions! No help to take our bags to the room. Room spacious, clean and well appointed. However we had twin beds pushed together having asked for a double and the bottom sheets on my bed were very rough unlike the duvet cover. We would have loved a drink of some sort but were told the bar did not open until 3pm and would close at 11pm, maybe later cos of the Euro football. We ate in the hotel that night but were not able to put the drinks or meal on a bill we had to pay there and then. Food quite good but would obviously be the same menu each evening. Breakfast which was included was a good selection and the staff pleasant. Found the pool, not large and only about a dozen sun beds. We did not ,open the windows in the room as the noise of the kitchen air con system was so loud. Very convenient for town, only a five minute stroll to marina and other restaurants. Nothing to complain about BUT totally lacked life. We were even told to observe the siesta between 1pm and 3pm. A bit like...
