This was the highlight of our stay in Grimaud. Our only regret is we didn’t come back to try the other dishes. Their ceviche was absolutely delicious and the fish was both chunky and fresh. The anchovy and onion tart was both fluffy and slightly sweet, the perfect appetiser. The hostess recommended the octopus as a main, and it was by far the best I’ve had in a while. Perfectly grilled and salty, with dollops of cream (stracciatella? Or maybe burata) on top of fennel and vegetables. My partner had the veal chop and was blown away. Their recommended rose wine was also delicious and the cheapest one on the menu, which we appreciated. The place itself was unpretentious, the staff friendly, the vibe relaxed. Food prices were reasonable, with most mains in the range of 20 something euros, and worth every penny....
