Pizzeria Agay | la Cave du MATUZ' — Restaurant in Draguignan

Beware! Maybe I was unlucky on the day, but my experience was nowhere near great. I walked in and ordered a simple Margherita to take away. The reception was very cold, maybe because I don't speak French unfortunately. After the pizza was made, I was given it with some hesitation. They might have known something already. Once I arrived home and opened it, the pizza looked deeply charred, which is ok for me, but it did not look like a classic one - just one big mess of tomato sauce and cheese. It tasted ok anyway, and I was hungry. But then I noticed pieces of meet in it. Good thing I'm not a vegetarian! I should have stopped by then and maybe return the pizza, but I was far away and hungry, ate it all. During the following night my stomach was hurting, and at some point in the morning I had to really scramble for toilet, pardon for details. Can't blame pizza with 100% certainty, but it was the most likely culprit. Conclusion: stay away or at least be careful there. Very strange, because the restaurant upstairs was very nice the...

We pre-ordered 33 pizzas the day before. We were able to pick up the pizzas on time, and they were all hot and absolutely delicious. The owner is great and the pizzeria gets our full recommendation! Thank you for making our group's evening even...

Une superbe découverte pendant nos vacances à Agay ! 🍕 Cette pizzeria est tenue par un couple passionné, chaleureux et généreux, qui prend plaisir à partager son savoir-faire. Éric prépare une vraie pâte napolitaine, travaillée avec soin, et le résultat est incroyable : des pizzas tout simplement excellentes, avec une pâte légère, savoureuse et parfaitement maîtrisée.

Un endroit à ne surtout pas manquer si vous passez dans la région : l’accueil est aussi authentique que les pizzas. Bravo à vous deux pour votre passion et votre générosité ! Et promis, je reviendrai poster une photo de la fameuse pâte d'Éric dès que je l’aurai faite.
