Restaurant La Réserve Sainte-Maxime — Restaurant in Draguignan

I booked one night with three friends for a table in the terrace at 8pm, We arrived at 8.10pm to be told our table had been given away as we were late..The beneficiaries of our table were eating so presumably had been there for at least a few minutes. I found the owner's attitude uncommercial and offhand (yes it was she who had given our table away!)

I have eaten at the restaurant before and on that occasion found the food and service very good and our waitress received a large tip.

My tip to you is don't be late...even by a few minutes! I won't be going back.Not sure about my (local) friend of...

This restaurant is expensive - which is fine.

My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years coming here.

This last visit the food was so bad - we had prawns - they were old and tasted moldy.

When mentioning this the restaurant just shrugged shoulders and ignored our requests for edible food .

The bill came at full price and we did not eat any of our meal as it was disgusting.

This restaurant relies on it's location - BUT I would ABSOLUTELY recommend ALL tourists keep well away from this pretentious, uncaring ,condescending restaurant...

Had a mixed experience at this place.. food was good ... only downtown was that the mussels that are on offer are prepared as escargot w garlic and butter.. and not cooked as we are used to. Wife had the fish a la plancha which was good .. white wine 'trois terres' was good value for money.
