We spotted this little restaurant when we were walking through the small streets of Ax-les-Thermes. The restaurant was lovely inside, small and friendly. We went for the plate of the day, Tomatican, which was absolutely delicious! In the image you’ll see the dish with the rice. It was meat, maize, tomatoes and rice. Whilst we were waiting we had some delicious bread with fresh tomato salsa. For dessert, I had a beautiful banoffee dessert and my partner the stunning hot chocolate! These dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavour, a pleasure to eat! To drink I had a white peach nectar and my partner a beautiful local ginger ale. This is an absolute must try restaurant if you’re in the area.

Testé au hasard mais pas déçue. Cuisine aux saveurs chilienne, plat copieux et bon rapport qualité prix sur fond sonore d'Amérique latine. L'accueil, le service, la gentillesse et la qualité des plats sont excellents. Je ne vis pas dans cette région, mais si c'était le cas, cet établissement deviendra mon restaurant préféré. Les empanadas sont délicieux et le plat typiquement chilien également. Je vous le conseille grandement, vous ne serez pas déçu. Restauration sur place ou à emporter Brunch Déjeuner et diner

We spotted this little restaurant when we were walking through the small streets of Ax-les-Thermes. The restaurant was lovely inside, small and friendly.

We went for the plate of the day, Tomatican, which was absolutely delicious! In the image you’ll see the dish with the rice. It was meat, maize, tomatoes and rice. Whilst we were waiting we had some delicious bread with fresh tomato salsa. For dessert, I had a beautiful banoffee dessert and my partner the stunning hot chocolate!

Place is absolutely lovely and comforting. It brings a homely sensation once you walk in and the service and staff are the sweetest. Service was immediate and we didn’t have to wait over 5 minutes. Honestly one of the least visited areas in this zone of France. It’s a must see! The food appears delicious, especially compared to a few of the other areas in this zone. It smells less like cigarettes if those bring you the ick because a bunch of places in this area have a bunch of smokers and it affects a whole bunch of us strictly.

Je suis un peu surprise de voir qu'il n'y a uniquement que des bons commentaires, Tant mieux !

Maintenant j'avoue que pour ma part j'ai été déçue du lieu.

Les prix sont abusés, sauf pour les empanadas seules (7€), dont la garniture est premier prix. Le souci c'est quand on ajoute la salade à l'empanada, immédiatement, c'est 12€. Pour une salade qui ne vaut pas ce prix. Du maïs de boîte, des tomates qui n'ont aucun goût, et des olives bof.

Pour ce qui est des crevettes frites, je ne sais pas si elles sont surgelées ou pas mais bon,

Les desserts n'ont pas l'air d'être faits maison, ce qui est dommage pour un dessert à 7€ quand même. Le seul gâteau fait maison est le banoffee mais sans caramel, c'est quand même étrange.

Les boissons sont un peu chères aussi, Pour un chocolat chaud à 5€, je m'attendais à avoir un chocolat avec de la chantilly ou au moins mélangé ! Mais non, c'est juste du lait et un bout de chocolat à cuire.
