Le Shams — Restaurant in Foix

I had a frustrating visit to this restaurant. We had to wait a long time to be served, and when the food finally arrived, the meat was tough and rubbery—more like chewing gum than something you’d want to eat. On top of that, the staff didn’t speak any English, which made communication really difficult. It was hard to place an order or ask for anything. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists...

We had a great time! We came in as a large group of Americans and the owner and staff were so gracious. The salad chevre was amazing, highly recommend. We also ordered 5 different kinds of pizza and all were good. The owner even brought us digestifs following dinner....

Lorsque nous allons à Foix nous ne manquons jamais de nous arrêter dans ce restaurant Égyptien. C'est là que j'y déguste de la seiche à la plancha, seiche agrémentée d'un beurre à l'ail et que j'adore. Le stationnement est possible et facile car un grand parking existe tout à côté. L'accueil est sympathique et la serveuse au petit soin. Je recommande vraiment.

Comme d'habitude nous avons été très bien servis et pour 10€ vous avez des assiettes super bien garnies, copieuses et bonnes (voir photos jointes) et pour 5€ de plus vous avez droit au dessert, 1/4 de vin et au café. Ambiance chaleureuse, un peu bruyante car les professeurs de l'école voisine sont venus déjeuner et doivent être en vacances scolaires à la fin...
