Lo Pichotòme — Restaurant in Forcalquier

This pizza place is simple but really delicious. During our stay in Provence, we went once for dinner and another time for lunch and our expectations were more than met! Initially we were a bit disappointed that they don't do pizza at lunch but we discovered other delicious, fresh items. The dinner we had was really good, the pizza simple but full of flavors. The mix of ingredients has been thought out thoroughly by the chef, so the combinations are spot on! Our waiter at dinner was friendly and funny; lunch was more self-service style. We hope to be back...

I have thought about this long and hard. This is probably my favourite pizza if not its top 3. I think the dough is cooked to perfection with that golden crusty flaky skin, the sauces on the champignon are genius because even though the mushrooms are raw the depth of the mushroom sauce makes if feel cooked and the parsley sauce cuts through the richness. The tomato sauce... Simply divine. Also the drinks to accompany it are just perfection, sooo smooth nothing is over powering. I think this is the perfect balance of flavours. Well done......

Manu and his team will make your time so much better that you shouldn’t even come for the food. But the truth is, the food is as good, actually, hang on.. the food is amazing. Have I talked about the wine ? All sourced from friends, they are as joyful and vibrant as the vibe. Make sure to stop, try it all, and come back.
