La Plage Blanche — Restaurant in Grasse

Now one of my favourite places on the Cote d'Azur. We jumped on a train and found ourselves in the area, we wanted a relaxed day so we hit the beach. Visually there is no contest between the beach clubs, we looked at each of them and came straight back to the Blanche. It's all white and natural wood and looked clean and fresh and just a bit more elegant. We were able to get our requested front line loungers without a booking luckily. This was only possible I think because it had been overcast in the morning and people hadn't turned up, I would recommend booking though to avoid disappointment. Good quality towels are provided with the high quality loungers, a large changing cabin for customers use, clean toilets, professional massage is available and amazing food which we had served at our lounger. Drinks were served promptly when requested and always with a smile. It's a lovely uncrowded sandy bay, slightly stoney as you enter the sea but not at all problematic. The view from the loungers is amazing, mountains, castles and the beautiful clear sea, it's definitely worth going front line for an uninterrupted view. My only complaint would be that the beach club shower wasn't working, I do like to get the salt off after swimming. There is a working public beach shower at the other end of the bay, the nearer public shower was out of order. We spent around €160 for 2, that was for loungers, towels, delicious lunch and a couple of drinks each. Eau transparente et plage très propre. Ceux sont malheureusement les seuls points positifs de cette après-midi passée à "La plage Blanche". Quant à aller sur une plage privée on s'attend à un minimum de service et de correction des hôtes. Quand je dois mettre un avis négatif en général je m'abstiens et prends juste la décision de ne pas revenir, mais là je fait une exception, le personnel sur place et en particulier la personne qui semblait être le responsable ont oublié ce que le mot commerce veut dire. Du début à la fin le comportement de cette personne a été des plus anticommercial ! Des reproches en tout genre. Tout lui était insupportable à en croire son attitude. "Vous passez trop de commandes différentes" il aurait fallu que l'on sache des le début tout ce qu'on allait consommer dans l'après-midi (une addition final de près de 1000€), "la prochaine fois il vaut mieux ne pas laisser les enfants commander ça peut faire des surprises" (je me suis abstenu de répondre qu'il n'y aurait sûrement pas de prochaine fois vu son attitude) comme si on avait refusé de payer quoi que ce soit parce que commander par les enfants, "on ne peut pas avoir 3 factures et diviser en plusieurs paiements de CB je ne suis pas une calculette", apparemment trop compliqué pour sa petite tête de faire des additions..... heureusement que nous sommes des gens bien élevés et courtois et que nous n'avons pas perdu notre calme car sincèrement ce monsieur avait lui un sérieux problème de comportement. Je passe sur les accusations infondées qu'il reconnaît finalement mais pour lesquelles il ne s'excuse pas. J'arrête là, mais d'autres propos du même acabit à chaque fois que celui-ci venait prendre une commande ont été tenu. Je donne tout ces détails pour être sûr que ce monsieur se reconnaîtra et surtout saura nous identifier afin qu'il puisse continuer à nous apprécier.... En conclusion préférez la plage "Cala Mia" assez proche sur Mandelieu bien plus agréable, avec un personnel très professionnel et aux petits soins, et surtout une bien...
