B.O. Lodge — Restaurant in Grenoble

We had a perfect 1 night at B.O. lodge. The rooms are very clean, new and tidy. The beds were very good. In the evening we had a delicious meal in the restaurant. There is a very good chef who works with fresh ingredients.

B.O. lodge is a family business which makes the atmosphere very pleasant. While eating, their son started playing guitar and singing. We started talking and my partner who is also a musician was invited and we enjoyed a wonderful private concert with other hotel guests. An unforgettable experience. Best place to stay if you are going to climb Alpe d'Huez by foot or bike. We stayed there a week with other members of our Alped'HuZes team. We had such a great stay and we loved the food. It felt like staying with friends. They even provided us with pancakes and breakfast at 3am since we had to start at 04:30 with the Alped'huzes (a yearly Dutch event in which the Alpe d'Huez is climbed up to 6 times by bike or foot to raise money against cancer). What a wonderful hotel. I stayed at the B.O. lodge with 6 friends whilst on a cycling trip. The owners Fabrice and Julie were excellent hosts, extremely accommodating and could not have made us feel more welcome. There is a lovely family feel to the hotel with excellent home made food, great wine and even the opportunity to Jam with Fabrice on the guitar - should you so desire!
