Central Bar — Restaurant in Grenoble

A very pleasant restaurant in the city center with an excellent and friendly atmosphere. The food is very tasty and ready in a short time. The staff is attentive and pleasant. Beer and various types of drinks are available. We ordered beer and mojito and of course coffee (excellent) and the price was only €1.50. We also met the owner, who is often present. Accueil inexistant ! Nous étions 2 à rentrer dans le restaurant pour demander si une table était toujours disponible afin de déjeuner. Dans un premier temps les serveurs nous ont snobé, éviter du regard. Par la suite, Je me suis approché de la terrasse afin de demander si une table était disponible. Un serveur n'a pu m'ignorer et m'a dit "vous voyez avec le monsieur là bas" Bref je suis rentré dans le restaurant aucun autre serveur ne s'est approché. Je suis allé auprès du fameux monsieur, je lui ai dit bonjour étant en face de lui, aucune réponse de sa part, il s'est mis dos à moi et est retourné à ses occupations... Bref j'ai passé 5 minutes à essayer d'avoir une table, une simple phrase comme "veuillez nous excuser monsieur nous sommes complet" ou "nous ne servons plus à cet heure ci" m'aurais éviter de partager cette mésaventure. Je m'en suis en aller en face.... Ou j'ai pu avoir une table directement et un accueil bien plus chaleureux. Je suis ravis de n'avoir rien...

Good menu choices for lunch at a reasonable price. Usually 2 choices for the menu of the day which is the best value. Ample portions too. We had the pork tenderloin with mustard cream sauce. Well seasoned and tasty. Very fresh salad too. Pistachio ice cream is great. Good location for people viewing in the middle...
