La Perle - Place de Venosc — Restaurant in Grenoble

I came here recently with a couple of my friends. I didn’t want to write a review because one of my friends already did, but now I have to. My friend explained this already on his review but when I wanted to pay the waiter walked away. Then after a few minutes he came back and started yelling at me because I was ‘hiding’ from him while I was literally waiting with my creditcard to pay. When my friend wrote about this the owner responded with that we we were hiding etc instead of owning up to it. Incredibly rude to internationals and students we also weren’t allowed to come in because of the way we were dressed. Very disappointed and I have never witnessed anything like this. This place was the highlight of our trip to Les Deux Alpes! We visited twice – once for drinks and another time we were blessed to participate at a reception. Both experiences were fantastic. The cozy ambiance with a fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cocktails are a delight, crafted on the spot with a nice taste. The wines were great and fitted perfectly with the food. Comfy cosy warm cocktail bar with great food and drinks - only just opened! The barman was very creative with the cocktails (would highly recommend the margaritas with strawberry white chocolate) & the waitress was lovely and very smiley and engaging.

Me and my brother shared a half meat platter between two and it tasted amazing, great quality meat! We would have been back again but was out last night in L2A. Best of luck to this new business, great staff and...
