Reservation is MUST!!! This is an upscale resturant so it's advisable that you book in advance. If you are a vegetarian, it's good to mention that while making a reservation. They don't have vegetarian options in the main menu but they can adjust to your taste and preferences which is definitely a plus point. They treat their clients really well which could lead to a bit of delay in taking your order. We had a reservation at 8 PM but they could only assist us around 8h40. I have no words to describe the food, it was AMAZING. The presentation was on point. I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. The staff is welcoming and polite. They even speak English. If you take the menu option for the dinner including drinks, it would cost you around 120€. The nearest tram stop to visit this restaurant would be Victor Hugo (Tram A or Tram B). The resturant is in the city center.

Les entrées étaient top (parfait foie gras à la bonne température, le saumon gravlax est une tuerie). Les plats principaux étaient un peu moins bons, le filer de bœuf par exemple était un peu fade, même si la sauce aux champignons était très très bonne. Le poisson était délicieux. On a bien aimé le dessert chocolat,chocolat, chocolat, très original avec différentes préparations (glace, tuile, cookie, crème) de chocolat. Par contre le nectarine poché semblait à une compote, il ne donnait pas l'impression d'être vraiment poché. En général c'est un bon choix comme restau, mais les plats sont parfois "inegaux"

We had a lovely dinner at La Girole. The service, atmosphere, and food were all amazing. We visited on a warm evening, and thankfully they had powerful air conditioning.

The taste, texture, and presentation of the food exceeded our expectations — we honestly loved every dish we tried. Special mention to the dark chocolate and cherry dessert, a delicious take on Black Forest cake that wasn’t overly sweet.
