The cable car of Grenoble is one of the most beautiful aspects of the city of Grenoble and is definitely worthy of a visit when you are in and around Grenoble. The cable car has been running since 1934 and has carried more than 14 million passengers till now. Not only is it a view in itself but the views you get to see from the top of Bastille fort are also worth your time. I would suggest people to take the cable car only to make it to the top of fort Bastille. Hiking back from the top will add another adventurous and beautiful aspect to your day with many good views...

This is the easy way to get up to the Bastille, but not for the faint of heart. The view is amazing from the globes, and it's a great way to take in the view of the valley and city. They also allow dogs on the tram for an additional 2€, however, there is fairly limited space in the first 4 bubbles, so if you have a big dog, you probably need the last car. However, your dog will need to be the type that will lay down on command and not move, as that would be dangerous if it did. Cabinas redondas (burbujas) con paredes translúcidas que te transportan en cinco minutos hasta las fortificaciones de la Bastilla, a unos 500 metros de altitud.
